Auction gavel — Keith Auctions policies and terms

OurPolicies

Please review our terms, auction rules, and guidelines before participating in any Keith Auctions event as a buyer or seller.

Terms of Service

Auction Participation

All bidders must be 18 years or older. By participating in any Keith Auctions auction, you agree to these terms and conditions in full.

Bid Acceptance

All bids are binding upon acceptance. Keith Auctions reserves the right to refuse any bid, reject any bidder, or cancel an auction at any time.

Payment

Payment is required immediately upon close of auction. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. A buyer's premium of 15% will be added to all winning bids.

Item Condition

All items are sold "as-is." While we provide detailed and accurate descriptions, buyers are responsible for personally inspecting items before bidding.

Returns

Returns are not accepted. Cases of material misrepresentation of item condition may be subject to refund solely at the discretion of Keith Auctions management.

Auction Rules & Conduct

Reserve Prices

Some items carry a reserve price. Bidding will not be concluded until the reserve is met. Keith Auctions will announce reserve status for each applicable lot.

Auctioneer Authority

The auctioneer has absolute and final authority on all bid disputes, tie bids, and auction decisions. All rulings are final.

Buyer Responsibilities

Winning bidders are responsible for removing their purchases within three (3) days of the auction close. We do not offer storage. If you need more time, arrangements must be made with Keith Auctions in advance — see our Delivery & Pickup policy below for full details.

Conduct

Keith Auctions reserves the right to remove any bidder from the auction floor for disruptive behavior, abusive language, or violation of these policies.

Online Bidding

Online bidders agree to all terms of service. Technical difficulties on the part of the bidder do not relieve bidding obligations or payment requirements.

For Sellers & Consignors

Item Acceptance

Keith Auctions reserves the right to decline any items for auction. We specialize in vintage, antique, and collectible items and will evaluate all consignments on a case-by-case basis.

Consignment Agreement

A written consignment agreement is required for all items entering our auction process. Commission rates and specific terms will be detailed and agreed upon in writing beforehand.

Item Condition Requirements

All items must be clean and in working condition. Items must be properly described with accurate, honest condition statements. We will not auction items that are misrepresented.

Insurance

Keith Auctions is not responsible for loss or damage to consigned items while on our premises. Insurance coverage can be arranged upon request at the consignor's expense.

Payment to Consignors

Payment for sold items will be issued within 30 days of auction close, less the agreed-upon commission percentage as detailed in your consignment agreement.

Privacy Policy

Information Collection

We collect personal information such as name, address, phone number, and email address solely for the purposes of auction participation and customer communication.

Data Use

Collected information is used exclusively for auction operations, customer communication, and service improvement. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.

Security

We maintain industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.

Contact for Privacy

If you have concerns about how your personal information is handled, please contact us at keithauctions@myyahoo.com or call 484-232-9943.

Policy Updates

We reserve the right to update this privacy policy at any time. Material changes will be posted on our website and effective immediately upon posting.

Delivery & Pickup

Pickup Window

All purchases must be picked up at our Macungie location within three (3) days of the auction close. Please bring your receipt and any help or equipment needed to load your items — loading and transport are the buyer's responsibility.

No Storage

Keith Auctions is not a storage facility, and we cannot hold purchased items beyond the pickup window. Please plan your pickup before you bid, especially for furniture and other large lots.

Extended Arrangements

If you cannot pick up within three days, contact us before the pickup window closes. Extensions are considered case by case and are granted only by prior agreement, solely at the discretion of Keith Auctions. Unapproved late pickups are treated as abandoned property.

Abandoned Items & Forfeiture

Items not picked up within three (3) days of the auction close — and without an approved arrangement in place — are considered abandoned. Payment will not be refunded, ownership of the property reverts to Keith Auctions, and the items may be resold or otherwise disposed of without further notice.

Shipping

We can facilitate shipping arrangements for an additional fee. Fragile or high-value items ship at the buyer's risk unless insurance is purchased through us.

Liability

Keith Auctions is not liable for damage or loss during pickup, or during shipping arranged independently by the buyer.
